The new bistro under chef Garry is working very nicely serving yummy food but needs more of you as customers.
Cold and wet weather is a likely deterrent for now but with better weather around the corner it is hoped that more of you will drop in and use your Club’s facilities. Membership now exceeds 500 people again yet those attending regularly is less than 100 people. For some time we have been reporting our dire financial position to members and conditions have not changed a lot. FROM THE COMMITTEE With the assistance of part time manager Vin Butcher, your Committee is working hard to try to make ends meet and thus keep the wolf from the door. As well as being on the RSL Committee, Rob is the Vice Chairperson of the Bowling Club Committee and is a new and very keen bowler. He has been on the Sub‐Branch Committee for approximately two months and joined to provide his support and experience in AUGUST 2012 assisting in the continuation and survival of the Hampton RSL. Rob joined the Club as an affiliate member Club in 2012 however his association with the Club goes back to 2000 when he would visit the club socially.
